Xtreme Coach and Trainer
The Xtreme are fortunate to have the services of Danny Hester and Michael Green.
Coach: Danny Hester
Danny is a former player at GMU and a former West Springfield Spartan team captain. Danny grew up playing soccer through the Northern Virginia travel system. He continues to play and has a true passion for the game. He has been coaching for over 6 years and maintains a USSF National C License.
Trainer: Michael Green
A native of Columbia, MD, Michael played collegiate soccer at the University of Virginia where he was a three-year starter and played for the Cavaliers in their 1997 NCAA Championship game vs. UCLA. Green began his professional soccer career in 1999, signing with Major League Soccer’s Kansas City Wizards. He spent three years with the Wizards, including the 2000 season when the Wizards won the MLS Cup. Michael was a member of the Pro-40 Select team during this period and in 1999, trained with Bayer Leverkusen of the German Bundesliga. He also played professionally in the A league for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Charleston Battery. Mike holds an NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and the NSCAA National Youth Diploma.
