Welcome to the home of the Ashburn Thunder!

The ASC Thunder (www.ashburnthunder.com) is a rising U10 boys travel soccer team based in Ashburn, Virginia. The Thunder represents the Ashburn Soccer Club (ASC) in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).  We are currently looking for enthusiastic, talented, and motivated young boys who wish to experience travel soccer (a higher level of play than recreational soccer).

The Ashburn Thunder will be having try-outs for our Fall 2008-2009 season in early June.  All sessions will be held at Bles Park located in Ashburn Virginia.  ALL PLAYERS are welcome to come out and be part of the try-outs.  These try-outs will be a combination of skills, game situations, and scrimmages.  For additional information, please contact Coach Bruce (ashburnsimmons@comcast.net) or call at 703-729-0628.

On April 26 2008, several members of the Ashburn Thunder volunteered to help clean-up Ashburn Farm during their annual Ashburn Farm Clean-Up Day.  The team decided to assist partly because we have (and will continue to use) Ashburn Farm fields for practice when county fields are closed due to weather.

In total, we filled over 5 large trash bags full of trash!!  Way to go Thunder!!!
