Several members of the Ashburn Thunder volunteered to help clean-up Ashburn Farm during their annual Ashburn Farm Clean-Up Day.  The team decided to assist partly because we have (and will continue to use) Ashburn Farm fields for practice when county fields are closed due to weather.

In total, we filled over 5 large trash bags full of trash!!  Way to go Thunder!!!

The team was assigned 5 areas in which they were ’in charge of’ picking up trash.  They did an awesome job - some of the items picked-up were:
- old skateboard
- many old car parts (apparently from an old accident)
- milk containers
- trash bags
- jump rope
- toy gun
