B-licensed Coach, Samir Shaban, a native of Lebanon while spending his youth in Africa’s Sierra Leone, has had to work with a number of new athletes this season to complete his already undefeated Arsenal. The Arsenal has achieved back-to-back undefeated, championship seasons in NCSL play and is on their way to a record third straight NCSL league championship.  Coach Shaban is a rare individual -- a volunteer coach, with three Division One NCSL boys teams.  He brings a certain degree of seriousness to the game as well as humor. On game day he relies on his well trained team to produce the W’s without much coaching from the sideline. He believes in his team and is committed to their success both on and off the field.
